Norwalk Family Dentistry was chosen as the Norwalk Chamber Business of the Year, and received this honor at the annual chamber banquet held on January 26th at the Echo Valley Country Club.
Our practice is owned by Dr. Donna Grant and Dr. Maureen Winslow. Dr. Grant started Norwalk Family Dentistry in July of 1992. She has built 3 different offices in Norwalk, now operating out of 1101 Chatham Ave with 3 dentists, and 17 staff members.
We provide cosmetic, implant, TMJ, invisalign ortho, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. We continue to support our community with donations through churches, military families, missionaries, school programs as well as dentistry to children and adults at no cost through various programs. Donated Dental, Smile Squad, Give Kids a Smile, and Mission of Mercy.
We have 18 outstanding employees (all woman). Thirteen employees have been here for over 12 years, and two for all 25 years. Three of our hygienists worked in the office as high school students in their MOC high school program. We employed them before, during hygiene school and now as valued employees. We provide a wonderful family friendly environment.
Dr. Donna Grant has been a Norwalk Chamber board member for numerous years. She was Norwalk Chamber President in 2004 and 2005. An original member of RUNorwalk group, she started the RUNorwalk Kids Fun Run, which Dr. Winslow still runs today. She has been an original member of Party Before the Works Chamber event and still runs this after 12 years. She was a Greater Des Moines Partnership Board member in 2005 and Chair of the Greater Des Moines Chamber Affiliates in 2005.
Dr. Maureen Winslow grew up in Norwalk and graduated from Norwalk High School. She has volunteered for numerous chamber events and has ran the RUNorwalk Kids Fun Run for the last five years.
Dr. Elizabeth Fleck is an active volunteer in the Norwalk Schools.
